A few days before the start of the school year, most parents are looking for bargains to buy supplies at a lower cost.

Especially since the price of schoolbags, kits, notebooks or binders should increase by 10 to 25% this year.

Europe 1 has listed the good plans to save money.

Only a few more days before the start of the school year.

With the increase in the price of supplies, it's the race for good deals right now.

Most parents are looking for bargains to buy less expensive schoolbags, pencil cases, notebooks or calculators.

Europe 1 has gone around the little tricks for big savings.

First solution to reduce the bill, opt for group purchases: large orders, placed with several people and which therefore cost less.

Specialized second-hand sites

In Pas-de-Calais, the FCPE, the parents' association, sells school supply kits 30% below the prices displayed in supermarkets.

All against a membership of 11 € per year.

An investment that pays off quickly.

"The most interesting thing above all is really the stationery kit, it's everything that is notebooks, copies, binders... It's around 50-55 euros and it's still much more advantageous than in the supermarkets", explains Angie, member of the association.

Another advantage of these grouped purchases is that the prices are fixed in March and guaranteed until December.

All year round, families can therefore buy supplies at a price that does not vary.

Another bulwark against inflation, place orders on specialized second-hand sites.

Mother of four children, Cécile tested the Beebs platform.

“In particular, I buy sportswear and sneakers for PE lessons. For example, I have already found shoes at 20-25 euros with postage, when they cost 80 euros new. allows me to save between 50 and 70% of the new price."

So many solutions that could interest the French, while the price of supplies this year should increase by 10 to 25%.
