The daughter of a Russian ideologue close to the Kremlin, Alexander Dugin, was killed on Saturday evening in the explosion of his car in the Moscow region, the Russian Investigative Committee said in a statement on Sunday.

Daria Dougina, a journalist and political scientist, was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser when it exploded before catching fire, on a highway near the village of Bolchiye Viaziomy, about 40 kilometers from Moscow, according to the press release. .
