Activists, on Ukrainian social media, widely circulated scenes of a number of destroyed Russian military vehicles being held in the heart of Kyiv, specifically on the capital's famous Khreshtyk Street.

The videos and photos transmitted by the platforms show the effects of the destruction of dozens of Russian tanks and armored vehicles, which the Ukrainian authorities brought to Kyiv to highlight their victories against the Russian army.

The official account of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense shared one of the circulating videos and commented: “In February, the Russians were planning a military parade in the city center of Kyiv, and after 6 months of full-scale war, we made a shameful display of rusty Russian mechanisms, and this is a reminder to all the dictators. How can a free and brave nation destroy their plans."

The footage circulated provoked the interactions of a large group of activists across the platforms, most of whom attacked the Russian side, as activist Katrina Crook said: "The only case in which the Russian army can roam the streets of Kyiv is that it is smashed and burned."

In February, russians were planning a parade in downtown Kyiv.
