“A criminal case was opened on the discovery on August 19 under the windows of a multi-storey building of the bodies of a man and an 8-month-old child with injuries characteristic of falling from a great height,” the report says.
According to the regional prosecutor's office, the deceased child is the daughter of a man born in 1990.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
Earlier it was reported that the UK opened a murder case after the disappearance of a six-year-old girl in the Perm region.
The body of the child was found in a place that was repeatedly combed by groups of volunteers along with police officers.
