On the 20th local time, a serious traffic accident occurred in Gaziantep province in southeastern Turkey.
Governor Gul said that according to preliminary estimates, 16 people have been killed and 22 injured in the accident.
The dead included three firefighters, four medical staff and two journalists.
It is reported that a car crashed into the riverbed on the highway in Nizip District, Gaziantep Province that day, and then fire trucks, ambulances and live broadcast vehicles of Turkey’s IHA news agency came to the scene to carry out rescue and reporting work.
During the rescue process, another bus rolled over and hit the rescue team and reporters, causing serious casualties.
After the accident, the relevant road section has been closed.
