The President of the State directs to provide urgent aid to those affected by the floods in Sudan

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, directed to provide urgent humanitarian aid worth 25 million dirhams to those affected and displaced by torrential rains and floods in Sudan, and to contribute to supporting the improvement of the living conditions of the affected population and the families of the victims.

The directives of His Highness the President of the State come within the framework of the UAE and its people standing by the brotherly Sudanese people, and solidarity with them in these current circumstances.

The relief aid also aims to support the Sudanese efforts and the capabilities of the concerned institutions to contain the humanitarian repercussions resulting from the torrential rains and floods that hit large areas in brotherly Sudan.
