“According to the available reliable information, in Voskresensky, Mykolaiv region, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mined a bridge across the Ingul River and approaches to it, as well as the sides of an adjacent highway, while the local population was deliberately not warned about this,” the statement says.
As the headquarters clarified, Ukrainian militants plan to blow up the bridge, after which, according to a well-established scenario, with wide media coverage, accuse the Russian army of allegedly indiscriminate strikes on transport infrastructure facilities.
Also on August 17, the Ministry of Defense announced that the Ukrainian military intended to blow up a bridge in the Sumy region.
