On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces arrested 3 Palestinian women at the Eliyahu military checkpoint, west of the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank, on charges of planning to carry out an attack on its members.

The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said that the army stopped a car carrying the three women and arrested them after finding a "Carlo" weapon, a suicide note, and a map in their possession, in addition to their lack of an entry permit to Israel.

In a statement, the occupation army claimed that, according to the initial investigation, it was found that the three women from Nablus, including two 26-year-olds, tried to carry out the attack on the crossing.

He explained that the three women were arrested after being suspicious of them by one of the checkpoint guards.

It was also found, after checking their identities, that they did not hold permits that would allow them to enter or work in Israel.
