“In early 2022, the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Belarus, having information about the whereabouts of at least 400 living Nazi criminals who are protected by foreign states, sent 60 requests for legal assistance in the case of the genocide of the Belarusian people to 18 countries,” TASS quotes him .

According to the head of the department, requests have been sent to Canada, the United States, Great Britain, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, Lithuania, Latvia and other countries.

It is noted that Lithuania and Latvia immediately refused to provide legal assistance, fearing that this could harm the security of states.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Russia established the facts of the mass destruction of civilians and prisoners of war by the Nazis in the occupied territory of the Bryansk region during the Great Patriotic War.
