Domestic rabbits unearthed human bones in the garden of a house in Amersfoort (Netherlands), reports

The local police were alerted Monday evening by the inhabitants, who had just discovered several bones dug up in their garden by their rabbits.

"They had found a skull with a jaw bone still attached," a neighbor told the Dutch media.

The Dutch police eventually spent the whole night carrying out searches.

After analysis, it turns out that the bones belong to three different individuals and date back to the years 1890-1900.

The forensic institute was in charge of the investigation to determine what they were doing in this garden.
