The award is given in connection with the Filmdagarna festival, which this year was arranged at Folkets Hus in Sundsvall, with 200 participants from cinemas all over Sweden.
Why are you guys the best at the cinema this year?
- I think it is unique that we have kept going throughout the pandemic, says director Anna Liljedahl.
The people's cinema in Älmhult never closed, but offered films for eight people at a time during the pandemic restrictions.
- We have noticed that we have been a social valve for many who have been sitting alone at home, says Monica Jönsson.
