As an example, Damberg mentions the lowering of the petrol and diesel tax.
- We have evaluated the effects and can state that a quarter of the reduction did not reach the car owners and consumers, but ended up in the pockets of the fuel companies.
The government will now task the Norwegian Economic Institute with analyzing the companies' actions during the year.
