Completion of 65% of the workflow of the Sheikh Ammar Street development project in Ajman

The Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al Nuaimi, was briefed on the progress of work on the Sheikh Ammar Street development project, whose completion rate has reached 65%. The project is one of the projects of the first package of the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, to develop the infrastructure Infrastructure and the advancement of the Emirate of Ajman to be one of the most important modern cities in the field of architecture and construction.



Al-Nuaimi, accompanied by the CEO of EAMS Group, Ahmed Hassan Al-Foara, the Director of the Roads and Infrastructure Department in the department, Eng. Abdullah Mustafa Al-Marzouqi, and the competencies working on the project, inspected the development work on the street, which is expected to be completed early next year 2023, explaining that the project’s goal is to expand the street From both sides, it will be 3 lanes in each direction from Al-Rawda Bridge to Sheikh Ammar Bridge to increase the capacity of the street to suit daily use and the rate of its visitors around the clock.



And he indicated that Sheikh Ammar Street is one of the most vital streets in the emirate, which necessitated the preparation of a development plan that includes a study of the current situation and identification of current and future needs. and reduce traffic congestion.

Al Nuaimi explained that the department has recently opened the intersection on Sheikh Ammar Street near the school complex in the Al Tallah area, after completing the development of the intersection, implementing the rain drainage network and installing traffic signals, as part of the development stages of the street to improve traffic for those coming from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street towards the city center. As well as those heading outside the emirate and facilitating their access to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road.

He said that the municipality department has prepared a comprehensive and integrated development plan to cover all areas of the Emirate of Ajman to achieve interconnection between all roads, in line with the strategic goal of providing an integrated infrastructure and enhancing interconnection between infrastructure elements and residential communities.
