North Korea rejected the 'bold initiative' proposed by President Yun Seok-yeol in his 8.15 congratulatory speech in a statement from Vice Minister Kim Yo-jong of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The title of Kim Yeo-jeong's discourse is "Don't dream in vain."

A bold idea, accusing 'the height of stupidity'

Kim Yeo-jeong criticized the 'bold idea' as "the height of folly that is far from realization as much as trying to dry the dark blue ocean and make a mulberry field."

It is just a copy of the 'Nuclear Openness 3000' that former President Lee Myung-bak put forward.

Kim Yeo-jung's argument is that the reason North Korea criticized such a bold initiative was that the premise that "if North Korea takes denuclearization measures" was wrong.

The 'Bold Initiative' is characterized by actively seeking economic support from the beginning of the denuclearization negotiations. However, the idea can only be realized when North Korea is willing to step forward in denuclearization anyway and comes to the negotiating table.

However, Kim Yo-jong is re-emphasizing that North Korea has no intention of denuclearizing.

Kim Yeo-jung said, "There are other things to bargain in the world," and she sarcastically said, "The idea of exchanging our (North Korea's) national sovereignty, nuclear power, with a pair of goods such as economic cooperation... It's really naive and you're still young." put it on

She said, "Who would want to exchange their fate for something like a gangbang rice cake?" She said, "It's bittersweet to send it to those who are obsessed with the useless delusion that they can't see our (North Korea) nuclear weapons if they pay more. Only contempt."

It means that we can never give up nuclear weapons, which are essential for the survival of the North Korean regime.

Expressing a constitutional objection to President Yoon

Rejection of bold initiatives was also rejected, but Kim Yeo-jung went beyond accusing President Yoon, revealing her constitutional rejection.

Kim Yeo-jung said, "The unscrupulous person who talks about a bold idea today and pushes for a North Korean invasion war practice tomorrow is none other than Yun Seok-yeol." I hate humans,” he said.

She said, "It is clear that we (North Korea) will never deal with each other," she said.

Even considering Kim Yeo-jung's exaggerated language, it can be guessed that North Korea has given up its expectations for the Yun Seok-yeol government.

Kim Yeo-jung's criticism and sarcasm against President Yoon is at a level that is embarrassing to even move on as it is.

"If you come to power, you have to work hard for two or three years before you can read the world's logic and circumstances."

"It would have been better to keep your mouth shut than to keep your mouth shut if you didn't have much to say or said one more nonsense."

"Dogs often bark at their thumbs or their pups, and the name of the president is no different."

"Really, the world in your neighborhood just seems strange."

"Isn't that the only person who could be elected president?"

“I didn’t really care what the other party would think of it or how those who knew the North-South relations would judge it, so I can’t help but be puzzled by his bravery and ignorance he showed so much.”

'Micro pragmatism' is needed rather than 'big discourse'

Considering Kim Jong-un's "annihilation of the Yun Seok-yeol government" and Kim Yo-jong's "never deal with it" remarks, progress in inter-Korean relations seems difficult for the time being.

Aside from harsh words being exchanged between the two Koreas, the reality is that the limits of inter-Korean relations are clear in a situation where the United Nations continues to impose sanctions on North Korea as North Korea continues to develop nuclear weapons.

Now is the time to think about micro-pragmatism rather than large discourses such as 'bold up' or 'dismantling the structure of the Cold War on the Korean Peninsula'.

With the UN sanctions on North Korea continuing, what is possible between the South and the North is humanitarian aid, social and cultural exchanges, and cooperation in the fields of agriculture, health, and forestry.

As long as North Korea continues to develop nuclear weapons, it is necessary to clearly tell North Korea that these kinds of things are possible between the two Koreas, and to have a cool attitude such that if North Korea responds, it is good or not.

North Korea denies even non-political exchanges that are helpful to them and criticizes South Korea because it is still trying to use South Korea for political purposes.

If we maintain a cool attitude and think that there is no room for political use of South Korea, a practical approach from a microscopic level may be possible between the two Koreas.

Now is the time for 'cool inter-Korean relations'.
