It is behind a black curtain, which protects her from the gaze of the accused, that the second plaintiff answers the questions of the court.

The first alleged victim, called "Woman One", preferred the video, to accuse the footballer of attempted rape.

This time, "Woman Two" comes in person to accuse the sportsman.

She claims in her deposition that the footballer stole her cell phone.

Wanting to get him back, she follows him to his room.

The door, equipped with a fingerprint recognition system, closes behind them.

As for the first complainant, Mendy would have assured that he did not want to hurt her and simply see her naked, before raping her three times.

He would have judged her "

too shy

" and, faced with her resistance, would have boasted of having "

slept with 10,000 women

".

eight rapes

The 28-year-old French defender, suspended for a year by Manchester City, is

appearing for eight rapes

, an attempted rape and a sexual assault against seven women.

The prosecution presented

him as a "

 predator

 "

 who abused "

 vulnerable, terrified and isolated

 " victims.

He faces life imprisonment.
