“At the moment, a significant part, more than 70%, has been cleared,” the commander stated.

He also informed that more than 17,000 explosive objects were destroyed on the territory of the city's airport.

Earlier it became known about the demining of the main industrial facilities in Mariupol.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said that electricity and water supply would be restored in Mariupol in mid-September.
