The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia flew to the Ryazan region to coordinate the extinguishing of forest fires

“Minister of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexander Kurenkov flew to the Ryazan region to coordinate the work of the RSChS group to extinguish fires,” the ministry said.

Earlier, the acting governor of the Ryazan region, Pavel Malkov, said that at the moment the forest fire area in the region is 500 hectares.

Also, the head of the administration of the Spassky district of the Ryazan region, Igor Tishin, said that the emergency regime began to operate on the territory of the Kudomsky district forestry in his area.
