According to him, Russia is conducting a close dialogue with the leadership of the IAEA and the UN on the trip of experts to the ZNPP.

“I am almost sure that the same contacts are being made with Ukraine through international organizations regarding the visit to the Zaporozhye NPP,” Vyshnevetsky said in a statement to RIA Novosti.

The diplomat expressed hope that the visit of the IAEA delegation would take place in the very near future.

“Russia, in any case, will contribute to this in every possible way,” Vishnevetsky said.

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that the UN leadership does not pay attention to the facts of shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.
