The Turkish newspaper "Star" published an article highlighting aspects of what has been achieved under the rule of the Turkish Justice and Development Party on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of its founding.

The Turkish writer Spiel Arslan, in her article in the newspaper, pointed out that the Justice and Development Party came to power through the confidence of the people and not through coups, and ended the one-party mentality that prevailed, so it is the fruit of development in modern Turkey.

The writer mentioned that the Justice and Development Party ended the burden of guardianship over Turkey's political history, which was shown through coups, and put an end to the oppression, discrimination and marginalization that the religious Anatolian people were subjected to.

She said that the party, led by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has taken many valuable steps in the interest of women, by repealing laws related to banning headscarves that target women based on their religious appearance, thus thwarting the efforts of guardianship centers that planned and implemented that ban that ignores people's rights and interferes in their lives.

Hope and Freedom

Arslan pointed out in her article that the foci of hostility to loyal Anatolians, their way of life, values, culture and religious beliefs, and those who practice various forms of illegal pursuit, harassment and intimidation with repression by "armed and unarmed forces";

They have all been removed from the system with the policy of the Justice and Development Party, and the entities that want to overthrow the power were removed from the Turkish Armed Forces.

The writer believes that the party has ended the repression and persecution that was practiced in Turkish universities, there are no longer incidents like what happened previously at the University of "Kirkali", where the student "Elif Erkilet" was expelled for wearing the veil, and about 10 thousand students were forced to travel abroad to study because of Restricting them in Turkey to the extent that they were unable to study in their country.

She concluded that Erdogan, with his policy, took the country out of those dark corridors, referring in this context to her personal experience, as she was able to practice her legal profession in 2017 without being banned, after reaching the age of 50, under the rule of the Justice and Development Party, which she believes has revived hope. He spread freedom, self-respect and social peace, and established great visions and goals for building the modern Republic of Turkey.
