It is the newspaper Gotlands Allehanda that has now drawn attention to the problem with the catamaran that ran aground on the small island of Bungeör outside Fårösund almost 14 days ago.

The wrecker seems to have completely ended up between the seats.

The coast guard has emptied the boat of fuel and other things that could be dangerous to the environment, but otherwise does not intend to do anything more about the matter at the moment.

On Monday, August 8, the Coast Guard emptied the boat of environmentally hazardous substances.

Including 100 liters of diesel, motor oil, batteries and LPG.

The Swedish Maritime Administration does nothing either, since the boat does not interfere with other maritime traffic.

Nor does the foreign owner seem to care about removing the boat.

Mikael Hamberg from the local homestead association thinks that something must be done before it's too late - regardless of whose responsibility it is.

In the clip, he tells more.
