Extinguishing 38 fires in Algeria

The General Directorate of Civil Protection in Algeria announced that 38 fires had been extinguished between Wednesday night and Thursday morning across the various concerned states in the east of the country.

Today, the Algerian radio quoted the person in charge of information at the level of the General Directorate of Civil Protection, Captain Nassim Barnawi, as saying that "38 fires have been extinguished out of a total of 63 fires," adding that the state of El Tarf, which is considered the most affected state and recorded 24 victims yesterday, only two fires remained.

Captain Bernawi confirmed that the teams in the burning points were supported by more than 1,700 additional aid, as a proactive step from the General Directorate of Civil Protection, following the meteorological statement regarding the rise in temperatures in the eastern states.
