Former President Moon Jae-in said through his SNS, "We are not moving forward on the path of democracy and people's livelihood, peace and integration achieved by President Kim Dae-jung."
"President Kim was a world leader who steadfastly navigated a path of democracy, human rights, peace and harmony amid severe adversity, and was always on the side of the common people and the weak, and was a national leader who successfully overcame the IMF crisis," said former President Moon. "President Kim's spirit and values come more urgently at this time," he said.
He continued, "I hope that it will be a day to look back on whether our descendants are continuing his spirit and values properly, on the 13th anniversary of his death."
