The car chase ended with a cross stop on the E4 at the height of Toftaholm.
- The driver, a boy, had started running from the scene but the police managed to catch him, says police spokesperson Evelina Olsson.
It turns out that all three, a boy and two girls, were under the influence of drugs and that they were in a stolen car.
- The girls had to be taken to hospital by ambulance, says Evelina Olsson.
Several criminal suspects
According to the hospital, one girl has minor injuries but will remain in the hospital for examination.
The girls are suspected of drug offences.
The boy who was the driver has been arrested by the police on suspicion of several crimes: drunken driving, gross negligence in traffic, drug crime for personal use, abuse of means of transportation, illegal driving, grievous bodily harm and for not having stopped at a policeman's sign.
