This summer, more than any other, picnics are in vogue.

And if you feel like rediscovering the joys of the holidays for a picnic, don't hesitate to go down to the park below your home with your favorite ingredients for gourmet and sometimes daring combinations, such as those by Raphaële Marchal, culinary journalist and author of the book

Passions Pique-Niques

published in June by Michel Lafon.

"Picnics are everywhere, but especially where you want", says Raphaële Marchal who never hesitates to "decide, at the very moment when you have just finished preparing a meal, to turn everything upside down" to bring it down in a garden or in a park, sit on the ground or on a bench “and experience, effortlessly, something unique”…

Anywhere anytime

The culinary journalist does not want to restrict it to lunch, she also enjoys it at breakfast “with a brioche and jam”, at tea time “with lemonade, cakes and cookies”, at the end of the day. noon until sunset, “with a bottle of bubbles, garlic rolls, a few hummus crackers and a nice sausage”… Even, at nightfall, “with plaids and intentions to be happy, surrounded by beautiful salads, savory pies, roasted vegetables, beautiful breads, cheeses, fruits and cakes”.

And even some beautiful and good mixes, fruits of his imagination (as in the video): flat peaches mozzarella or raspberry goat cheese… Just enough time to let the summer slip away, sometimes until the end of the night.
