In April, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the United States wants to settle the situation with Turkey after Ankara acquired the S-400.  

In February, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the supply of Russian S-400 air defense systems an internal affair of Turkey, which does not bear negative attitude towards NATO.
