President Yoon Seok-yeol held his first official press conference on the 100th day of his inauguration yesterday (17th) and lowered his stance, saying that he would humbly support the public opinion.

However, he practically avoided answering sensitive questions such as the cause of the drop in approval ratings or the position of former CEO Lee Jun-seok.

During the 54-minute press conference, President Yoon Seok-yeol first devoted 20 minutes to highlighting the achievements of the last 100 days of state affairs.



He nailed the Moon Jae-in administration's income-led growth and nuclear phase-out as a wrong policy, and emphasized the economic stance centered on the private sector, the market, and the common people.



In a situation where the cold public sentiment showed a low approval rate for state management, President Yoon acknowledged trial and error and lowered his stance.

In response to the conflict-related questions, he maintained a non-responsive stance, calling him 'another politician'.

The People's Power gave a positive evaluation, saying that it "expressed an attitude to properly serve the people," while the Democratic Party downgraded it, saying it was "only shameful self-praise."
