Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, said in response to an inquiry on August 17 that in order to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's reply to the Taiwanese youth who participated in the Straits Youth Forum, and to build a platform for young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to join hands to experience Chinese culture and achieve spiritual harmony, the second cross-strait session The Youth Culture Month will be held in Jiangsu from mid-August to the end of September.
The Cross-Strait Youth Culture Month is guided by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and jointly organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of Jiangsu Province and the Suzhou Municipal People's Government.
The theme of this year's Cultural Month is "The Strength of Youth with One Heart". From August 19th to 20th, the opening ceremony, cultural exhibition, cultural salon, cultural tourism experience and other activities will be held in Suzhou, the main venue, including more than 100 internships in the Yangtze River Delta. Young people from both sides of the Taiwan Strait, including representatives of Taiwanese youth working and living, were invited to participate.
During the Culture Month, more than 30 online and offline cross-strait cultural exchange activities will be held in Suzhou, Nanjing, Taizhou, Xuzhou, Yancheng and other places, covering e-sports, cultural creativity, lantern festivals, Peking Opera, poetry, calligraphy, painting and seal cutting, etc. Cultural salons, cultural tourism experiences, online competitions, cloud sharing and other content further provide more resources for young people on both sides of the strait to learn from each other and work together.
