In his telegram, Pushilin noted the steadfastness and courage of the North Korean people on the path to the liberation of the country.

“Today, the people of Donbass are also fighting for freedom and historical justice, like the Korean people 77 years ago,” the head of the DPR said.

He also expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation between the DPR and the DPRK in the interests of the peoples of the two countries would be fruitful.

Earlier, the DPRK Ambassador to Moscow, Sin Hong-chul, and the head of the DPR representative office in Russia, Olga Makeeva, discussed the development of economic cooperation at a meeting.

Russian Ambassador to North Korea Alexander Matsegora said that the DPRK and the Republic of Donbass have broad prospects for cooperation.
