On the afternoon of August 16, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, inspected the Memorial Hall of the Liaoshen Campaign in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, and reviewed the history of the Northeast Liberation War and the victory process of the Liaoshen Campaign.

  The Liaoshen Battle Memorial Hall is located in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province. It was established in December 1958. The new museum was completed in 1988 and reopened to the public after complete renovation in 2004.

  The memorial hall covers an area of ​​188,000 square meters. It is mainly composed of monumental and iconic gates, towers and pavilions. The main building is 8,600 square meters. The basic exhibition includes the preface hall, the war history hall, the branch hall, the heroic hall and panoramic paintings. The museum has a total of 19,915 collections, including 25 first-class cultural relics.
