- Last year there were only two teams in the women's league that made a profit and with increased costs it is tough to run a team at this level, says Ingvar Gustavsson, financial manager for LFC.

Is there an acute crisis for the club behind the letter?

- No, it doesn't, but the budget doesn't match the income, so today there is a shortfall of between SEK 2-3 million.

With this mailing, as well as the fact that we have applied for money from the municipality, we hope to be able to sort this out, he says.

The team's goal is to get into the top three of the women's league, where a desirable Champions League place can lift the economy.

- We have a very good coaching team and a good team this year, so if we can do it - then we will get a lot of money, says Ingvar Gustavsson.
