Mayor of London Khan allowed the growth of crime in the capital due to the situation in the economy

Sadiq Khan stated this in an interview with The Guardian newspaper.

“I am concerned about a potential surge in violence this summer as the cost of living rises and this could undo what we have already achieved in the fight against crime.

Violence, like poverty, is not inevitable, and now the government must do much more to show that it shares my intention to make London safer for all, ”Khan said.
