In the Novosibirsk region, a mandatory mask regime was introduced in public transport

In the Novosibirsk region on August 16, at a meeting of the operational headquarters led by First Deputy Governor Yuri Petukhov, they discussed the current epidemiological situation in the region.

“According to the results of the meeting, the operational headquarters decided to recommend the use of masks in public transport, and for employees of institutions actively interacting with citizens when they are at their workplaces,” the statement says.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor recommended wearing masks in public places in regions where the incidence of COVID-19 exceeds 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
