According to the Telegram channel of the mayor's office, on the Central Beach, far outside the permitted swimming area, a monitoring system detected a man who signaled for help.
The duty officer promptly sent a drone to the sinking one.
“The drone dropped the man’s life jacket and remained in the air, serving as a guide for the rescue service that arrived on the boat,” the message says.
All necessary assistance was provided to the victim in time.
Earlier, according to the "Amber Region", in the Kaliningrad region, exercises were held to search and rescue people in the Baltic Sea, in which a number of different services and departments took part.
