Date set for hearing on Navalny's "trade union" case

The statement of claim was submitted for consideration to Judge K.S. Nikiforov.

It follows from it that in July of this year, Navalny sent a notification to the head of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the head of IK-6 about the creation of the Promzona trade union, as well as a notification about joining it.

On August 4, he was issued an official warning about the inadmissibility of actions that "create conditions for the commission of an administrative offense."

The report of the Kovrov City Court notes that the plaintiff considers the warning announced to him unlawful.

Alexei Navalny is currently in IK-6 in the Vladimir region, where he is serving a sentence in several criminal cases.

In total, he received 9 years in a strict regime colony.
