The 2022 Brazilian presidential election campaign kicked off on the 16th, with 11 presidential candidates vying for the presidency.

  As of the registration deadline on the 15th, a total of 12 presidential candidates have registered with the Brazilian High Electoral Court, including Liberal Party candidates, current President Bolsonaro, Labor Party candidates, former President Lula and Democratic Labor Party candidates, and former Finance Ministers Gomes et al.

On the 16th, a candidate announced his withdrawal from the election.

  The poll results released by the Brazilian consulting agency on the 15th showed that Lula led the first round of the polls with 44% support, Bolsonaro's support rate was 32%, and the rest of the candidates had lower support rates.

  According to the schedule announced by the Brazilian High Electoral Court, starting from the 16th, presidential candidates can hold election campaigns and conduct media promotions.

  The first round of voting in Brazil's 2022 presidential election will be held on October 2.

If no candidate wins more than half of the votes, the two with the most votes will decide the winner in the second round of voting.

The second round of voting is scheduled for October 30.
