A Palestinian was killed and about 30 wounded in the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank during clashes that erupted between Palestinian youths and the occupation soldiers who stormed the Joseph's Tomb area to secure the entry of settlers.

Ahmed Jibril, Director General of Ambulance and Emergency at the Red Crescent Society in Nablus, said that Waseem Nasr Khalifa, 18, was killed after being wounded in the chest during the confrontations of Joseph's Tomb with the occupation army east of Nablus.

Jibril added that about 30 Palestinians were also wounded during the confrontations, and their injuries varied between suffocation with tear gas, rubber-coated metal bullets and live bullets.
