He noted that today no one remembers the ABM treaties destroyed by the United States, the limitation of medium and short-range missiles and open skies, despite their fundamental importance for creating an atmosphere of trust.

“The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which was conceived as a platform for dialogue and taking into account various opinions, has become a generator of anti-Russian narratives,” Shoigu is quoted by TASS.

The minister added that formally the 2011 Vienna Document on Confidence and Security Building Measures is still in force, but there are no prospects for its practical implementation. 

Earlier it was reported that the Investigative Committee would request data from the Russian Guard on the work of the OSCE in the interests of the Ukrainian special services.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that the report of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) on human rights violations in Ukraine shows him sliding into Russophobic rails.
