Elizabeth Alexander, Director of Communications for US First Lady Jill Biden, said today, Tuesday, that tests have confirmed that President Joe Biden's wife has been infected with the Corona virus (Covid-19).

After the periodic test result came back negative on Monday, the first lady began showing cold-like symptoms in the late evening while she was vacationing with her husband in South Carolina.

The spokeswoman said that the result of a rapid test again came back negative, but the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) (PCR) came back positive.

Accordingly, the first US lady will remain in a special residence in South Carolina, and will self-isolate for at least five days and will be treated with the drug Baxlovid, provided that she will return to Washington after two consecutive negative tests.

The White House stated that the result of President Joe Biden's test on Tuesday was negative.

The White House indicated that Jill took the double vaccination of the Corona virus vaccine, in addition to taking two booster doses.

Biden intends to go to Washington later in the day as planned, while adhering to the safety procedures stipulated by the Health Authority for Disease Prevention and Control, where Biden will sign in Washington the new climate and social package.
