“461 people and 107 pieces of equipment are involved in the elimination of the fire,” the source said.
The representative of the department noted that extinguishing the fire is complicated by strong gusts of wind, the speed of which reaches 30 m/s.
Earlier it was reported that the fire area in the village of Verkhnekundryuchenskaya, Rostov region, reached 136 hectares.
The governor of the Rostov region, Vasily Golubev, said that more than 50 people asked for medical help because of the fire in the village.
