The People's Power held a general meeting of the National Assembly and a standing national committee in the afternoon to decide on the appointment of the Emergency Response Committee.
In the House of Representatives, first-elected Rep. Eom Tae-young and proportional representative Jeon Ju-hye were confirmed as non-members.
The members of the out-of-house committee included former re-elected lawmaker Jeong Yang-seok, former People's Strength Gwangju mayor Joo Ki-hwan, Gangwon-do lawmaker Choi Jae-min and Sejong City Councilman Lee So-hee.
Ho-young Joo, floor leader, Seong-dong Kwon, and Il-jong Seong, chairman of the policy committee, were included as ex officio members.
