Militants planning assassination attempts on local authorities detained in Kherson

“At the beginning of the SVO (special military operation in Ukraine. -

) I thought that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would blow up the bridges and we would remain calm in Kherson,” TASS quoted the head of the local cell Vadim Kravchenko as saying.

He said that in his unit there were soldiers with combat experience, the organization had links with the Security Service of Ukraine, as well as with the main directorate of Ukrainian intelligence.

Kravchenko added that the group transmitted data on the location of Russian troops in Kherson, and also monitored local authorities to prepare assassination attempts on officials.

Earlier, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, said that a spotter of Ukrainian army attacks on Melitopol was detained in the region.
