At 76, Lula embarked on his sixth presidential campaign with, he says, the energy of a 30-year-old man.

Lula insisted on the seriousness of the social situation, referring to the return of hunger among the population.

Brazil is the third largest food producer in the world.

It is not possible that there are 33 million people who are hungry.

I'm going to come back so that we put this country back on its feet, so that we can create jobs.

A big favorite in the polls, Lula also complained about the false news spread by the opposing camp, especially in evangelical circles.
