It was just before half past one in the morning that SOS was alerted to a burning vehicle on Råslätt in Jönköping.
When the rescue service arrived at the scene, there was a fully developed fire in a car.
Then the fire spread, according to the fire service's command operator.
No suspects at this time
Three of the cars were completely destroyed and two cars received minor damage.
Right now there are no suspects in the fire, but the police are classifying it as vandalism by fire.
- There is no natural explanation, therefore we believe it is vandalism, says Peter Ström, who is the officer on duty at the police.
