This was reported by the press service of the President of Belarus.

“In order to improve the efficiency of the electronic queue system, the decree cancels the free placement of vehicles in the waiting area,” the press service said.

It is noted that the existing service of paid booking of the time of entry of vehicles to the checkpoint from the waiting area will also be canceled.

Instead, the decree provides that all vehicles entering the waiting area will pay for registration in the electronic queue system, and entry into the waiting area will be streamlined and will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis, the press service said.

In April, it was reported that the Ministry of Transport of Belarus was introducing a retaliatory ban on the movement of cars and tractors registered in the EU countries across the customs border of the EAEU into the country.
