Almost half of all cases of COVID-19 in Russia are in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Moscow region

“The epidemiological situation of COVID-19 in Russia is characterized by a continuing increase in the number of detected cases ... At the same time, 48.6% of detected cases occur in three regions - Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Moscow Region,” the statement says.

It is specified that the excess of the average incidence rates was registered in 18 regions.

Earlier, the authorities of Buryatia introduced a mask regime due to an increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the region.
