Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon announced the amendment to the Enforcement Decree last week.

It overturned a bill to reduce prosecutors' investigative powers, which was passed at the plenary session of the National Assembly in April.

The goal is to greatly expand the scope of the prosecution's direct investigation, which is limited to corruption and economic crimes.

The Democrats were stunned.

Criticism poured in for violating the power of the National Assembly, which was passed through an agreement between the ruling and opposition parties.

Dong-Hoon Han and the Democratic Party's second round of check-and-match opened the door.

It is evaluated that it will serve as a primer in the conflict between the ruling and opposition parties ahead of the regular parliamentary session.

The legislative and judiciary members of the Democratic National Assembly said that they requested a plenary meeting this week with Minister Han Dong-hoon to receive an urgent report on pending issues.

At a press conference last week, he criticized the act of disturbing the constitutional order and destroying democracy with the arrogance hidden behind the guise of rule of law, and mocking the public's aspiration for prosecutorial reform in order to protect the vested interests of the prosecution.

The problem is that the Democrats' response is so far.

The Ministry of Justice urgent issue report has not yet been scheduled.

After a month or so, the purpose of the legislation will be overturned and the prosecutor's direct investigation authority will be restored to the state before the passage of the law, but an effective response at the National Assembly level is impossible.

Democrats' lukewarm response is difficult to understand.

Outside the market, they are calling for the impeachment of Han Dong-hoon, but they seem to be trying to avoid it when face-to-face is necessary.

It is reminiscent of an affidavit.

The Democratic Party is in the trauma of Han Dong-hoon.

During the Moon Jae-in administration, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office mobilized close to 20 pro-government prosecutors to get rid of Minister Han Dong-hoon's 'suspects of collusion,' and at that time Minister Choo Mi-ae was confident of arrest, saying that the evidence was overflowing.

However, later, the investigation into prosecuting accusations became a stumbling block because of the inability to crack a minister's cell phone password.

The remarks made by former chairman of the Roh Moo-hyung Foundation, Yoo Si-min, a progressive giant who attacked a minister for being tracked by an account, were found to be false and convicted in the first trial.

At the hearing of Justice Minister Han Dong-hoon, the Democratic Judicial Committee members were in trouble due to his 'aunt' remarks, and in a question about the National Assembly that drew attention due to the confrontation between the former and current justice ministers, a minister said, "When a lawmaker was a minister, he completely passed the prosecution's personnel." It was also revealed that former Minister Park Bum-gye was perplexed by the remarks.

Jin Joong-kwon, a former professor at Dongyang University, criticized former Minister Park Beom-gye as a devastating defeat.

It is a picture of the huge opposition party being helpless by Minister Han Dong-hoon's counterattack.

At this point, it is a 'gonghan certificate'.

You can also hear the voices of self-help within the Democratic Party that it is the Democratic Party's big picture to make a minister a star and become a Democratic presidential candidate.

Enlarging an image

Woo Sang-ho, chairman of the Democratic Party's emergency countermeasures committee, warned that it was a 'law engineer's nongdan' and that 'minister Han Dong-hoon was too clingy'.

However, the aftermath of the announcement of the Enforcement Decree is hitting the Democratic Party.

It became an excuse to change the phrase “medium” for corruption and economic crimes to “etc.” in the provisions of the Prosecutor’s Office Act.

We cannot refute Minister Han Dong-hoon's claim that it is the Supreme Court's precedent that interpretation of text takes precedence over the purpose of legislation.

Opposition supporters are also pouring criticism on the Democrats' judiciary.

An opposition-leaning political critic poured out intense accusations that the floor leader Park Hong-geun should be impeached, saying he ate a shot at Minister Han Dong-hoon, regardless of whether the enforcement ordinance was illegal.

As Rep. Lee Su-jin of the Democratic Party pointed out the loopholes in the 'back', if the leadership reached an agreement even though they knew the loopholes in the bill, it would be a transfer act.

He claimed to have opened up a hole through which he could escape and disrespected party members and supporters.

There are voices calling for a bill to restrict the revision of the government's enforcement ordinance by the National Assembly, but it is not a trick.

Because the president's veto power remains.

Just before the new government was launched, the Democratic Party pushed for the passage of a bill to separate the prosecution's investigative powers while accepting the accusations that it was unreasonable to ignore the livelihood of the people.

They protested that it was not to prepare for the prosecution's investigation, but what cannot be denied is that the Democratic Party is most afraid of retaliatory investigations.

Prosecutors are conducting a trawl-type investigation into various allegations surrounding Rep. Lee Jae-myung.

It is also heard that prosecution is inevitable just because of the allegations that have already been revealed.

It is estimated that about 20 lawmakers are on the line of investigation with imminent prosecution in addition to lawmakers who have already been indicted and are on trial.

Reducing the prosecution's direct investigation may be the most important insurance for the Democrats to protect themselves for the next five years.

Separately, the Democratic Party has also decided to push for revision of the Party Constitution to extend Article 80 of the Party Constitution, which suspends duties at the time of indictment, to the time of the judgment of the first instance.

As a result, the Democratic Party failed to defeat the prosecution's brunt by overturning the bill to separate the prosecution's investigative powers.

Half of the investigation is justification, but the Democratic Party is often pushed back in public opinion battles as well.

He criticizes the prosecution's direct expansion of the investigation as giving up on people's livelihood and protecting the prosecutor's bowl, but Minister Han Dong-hoon refutes that he doesn't know why he opposes the investigation, which is to catch thugs who bully the common people and to punish them with bad power.

Revision of the enforcement ordinance is also a reaction that cannot be understood, saying that it was changed according to the law made by the Democratic Party.

Rather, Minister Han Dong-hoon, who has launched a preemptive attack, is provoking the Democratic Party to call out anytime.

Democrats must now prepare for the worst.

We may have to start a hard cause fight with the prosecution over political retaliation or corruption.

If the facts of the suspect are reported in the media, the old grammar of the scandalous investigation must be uncovered again and the suspicion of collusion with prosecuting must be raised again.

The prosecution may indiscriminately announce the facts of the suspect that the Democrats despise so much to reinforce the justification that it is for the common people to punish bad powers and catch thugs.

This year, when the karate was switched, the Democrats are counting.

The resolution of Han Dong-hoon's impeachment could also be a source of support for the opposition.

Passing through the resolution of impeachment with the logic of the power of a huge opposition party while being pushed out of justification and logic is only a means of comforting the supporters, but it will not be enough to reverse public opinion.

It's in the process of churning.

The Democratic Party should call Minister Han Dong-hoon to the National Assembly.

This is because the <Prosecutor's Investigation Authority Separation Act> is an issue that the Democratic Party cannot back down.

The opposition party passed it, risking the fate of the regime, saying that it was the completion of the Moon Jae-in administration's prosecution reform.

We have to prove ourselves that the enforcement of the law to separate the prosecution's investigative powers is not a shield to hide the allegations of corruption in the former government.

In addition, the next likely leader of the party is Rep. Lee Jae-myung, whom the prosecution is looking for.

In war, you have to decide when to fight and when to avoid it, but when you can't avoid fighting, you must fight and win.

We need to get out of Han Dong-hoon's trauma.
