Occupied Jerusalem -

"Muhammad, my son was martyred, young men. He opened the door and they hit him in the head with a bullet along, and they broke the house. I am in disbelief after being besieged, scholar. My son is martyred, and they sent us aid to the house."

In an affected voice, Ibrahim Al-Shaham recorded this audio message and sent it at dawn today, and the blood of his son Muhammad surrounded him, after he bled to death.

The occupation forces stormed the home of the al-Shaham family in the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem, at 3:30 am today, Monday, and then shot the young man, Muhammad al-Shaham, 21, from a zero distance, and left him to bleed for 40 minutes in front of his family, before taking his body.

accidentally killed

The father of the martyr confirms to Al Jazeera Net that the occupation deliberately liquidated his son, denying what the Hebrew websites circulated about Muhammad's attempt to stab the soldiers, publishing a picture of a knife inside the house.

The grieving father replies, saying, "The soldiers told me after his execution, that this happened by mistake and that our house is not the target. Then we were surprised by his accusation of trying to stab. All this is to cover the occupation for his crime. How can a sleeping young man receive Tariq in his house for stabbing him with a fruit knife?"

The al-Shaham family was displaced from the city of Lydda in 1948, and sought refuge in Qalandia camp, north of Jerusalem, after which Ibrahim lived in a house in the Madras neighborhood in the town of Kafr Aqab, near the camp, with his six children, 3 of whom are qualified people with special needs.

Drain his blood on the sink

Father Ibrahim sits at the headquarters of the People’s Committee in Qalandia camp, talks to the media and receives mourners for his martyred son, who could not say goodbye or bury him, after the occupation detained his body in an unknown location for the family.

The man holds back his tears and returns the details of the crime to everyone who asked him, as he told Al Jazeera Net, "I was sleeping and I heard heavy knocks on the door, Muhammad was the first to advance towards the door because the rest of his brothers are competent and do not see, suddenly and without introduction the soldiers started shooting, I and my sons hid, and the bullets hit Muhammad in the head, then they started beating us and trampled on my blind son, then they raised Muhammad’s feet near the sink to drain his blood.”

The father of the martyr continues, wondering, "My son was not wanted or targeted. At the time of the storming, two Palestinian ambulances were waiting outside the house, and another military vehicle belonging to the occupation soldiers, but they left him bleeding and prevented him from being treated, so how do they say that his killing was by mistake?"

At the crime scene inside Beit Al-Shaham, the remains of blood on the floor, and bullet holes in the wall, were evident. At the top of the house, Muhammad’s mother sat sniffing his shirt and crying, amid a state of shock and astonishment among his brothers and younger sister Rimas, who started crying to arrange his room that had been destroyed by the soldiers.

farewell smile

The martyr's mother hardly spoke to Al Jazeera Net, amid a collapse and a strong impact, saying, "They blew up the door of the house and we thought they were thieves. They killed Muhammad with a weapon with a silencer. I put on my hijab and went out towards the entrance and saw smoke and laser lights. Then my eyes fell on my son Muhammad bleeding on the ground, I held his hand and the soldier pushed me and took me out." With my children outside the house, Muhammad looked at his sister and gave his last smile.

The mother smells her son’s blood again and weeps, saying, “Muhammad Assad, the support of his brothers, Muhammad is the joy of my heart and everything in my life, our hand and our leg. The crowding, but death woke him up, it all happened in the blink of an eye.”

After his ascension, the Fatah movement mourned in Qalandia camp the martyr Muhammad through the minarets of the camp and the town of Kafr Aqab, announcing that today would be a day of sympathy for his relatives in "Martyr Square", a day of mourning and a comprehensive commercial strike.
