  These more than 100 precious cultural relics revolve around the life of Wang Shizhen, a literati in the late Ming Dynasty.

He Yanquan, Section Chief of the Calligraphy and Painting Documentation Department of the National Palace Museum in Taipei, pointed out that Wang Shizhen was an important historian and writer of the Ming Dynasty.

Wang Shizhen is erudite and talented, and has a first-class eye for appreciation and collection. Unfortunately, his painting and calligraphy are not outstanding, and he cannot be remembered as a calligrapher and painter. As a result, modern audiences almost forget him.

This time, the National Palace Museum in Taipei planned an exhibition with the theme of "collectors".

He Yanquan said that in the late Ming Dynasty, the traitor Yan Song and his son wanted to get Zhang Zeduan's "Along the River During Qingming Festival" in the Northern Song Dynasty, so they asked Wang Yan, the father of Wang Shizhen.

Wang Yan asked the painter Huang Biao to make a copy and presented it, but it was kicked out by the mounter Tang Chen as a fake. Yan Song was furious and framed Wang Yan and asked him to be executed.

Wang Shizhen, who was in the middle of the family, faded out of officialdom and returned to his hometown to send poetry, calligraphy, painting and discussion.

  This exhibition displays two fake paintings of "Across the River During Qingming Festival" collected by the National Palace Museum in Taipei, as well as the collections of Wang Shizhen, friends, and Yan Song and his son.

The exhibited painters include Wang Xizhi, Huai Su, Song Huizong, Zhao Mengfu, Wang Mian, Fan Kuan, Ma Yuan, Huang Gongwang, Wang Yuanqi, Wang Meng, Chu Suiliang, Huang Tingjian, Wen Zhengming, Ni Zan, Shen Zhou, etc. heavyweight painter.
