Public health doctors in Germany have urged the application of unified instructions to combat Corona during the autumn and winter seasons.

In statements to the German "Funke" media group, the head of the Federal Association of Doctors of the Public Health Service in Germany, Johannes Nissen, said, "We need standards that apply to all states, and determine the regulations that will be applied and at what time."

Nissen stressed that there is a need for these instructions to have "strict and clear levels," noting that the instructions should not differ from one state to another, especially if they are on the same degree of infection.

He said that these instructions should not obligate restaurant visitors to wear a muzzle in a state such as Bavaria, while exempting them from this matter in another state such as neighboring Baden-Württemberg.

"traffic light"

Nissen suggested applying what he called a “traffic light system” to assess the situation of Corona, so that it lights up in green if the daily infection rate is less than 500 and the number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care departments is less than 1000, with no alarming signs from wastewater analysis. healthy.

Nissen added that masks must be worn in indoor halls in case the injuries exceed the mentioned numbers.

He said, "In the event that the daily infection rate rises to 1,000, and the number of patients in intensive care becomes more than 5,000, the traffic light system should rise to red, then no exceptions should be allowed from the compulsory wearing of the muzzle, and further measures must be taken." .

The German government had put forward proposals for the coming months, and the proposals are currently being consulted with the states.

The Council of Ministers is expected to pass a draft of the protection plan on August 24, before it is presented to the Council of States and Parliament at a later time.
