Initially, the police said the young man had been seriously injured by a special task force that had broken into his hotel room and then died in the hospital.

Previously, the man is said to have threatened two prostitutes and tried to force them to take drugs;

however, the women were able to escape.

During the deployment of the SEK, the man then seriously injured a police dog with a knife.

According to information from the Hessischer Rundfunk, however, the man was shot in the head directly in his hotel room.
